Multipurpose UV-Stable Leak Repair Tape with MicroSealant® Technology
MarMac’s MarMax™ Tape is a proven, industrial-strength, contractor-grade, leak repair tape and one-step permanent repair system for virtually all roof types, roof accessories, and much more. MarMax™ features a UV-stable backing which creates a waterproof, moisture and air-tight barrier with no additional sealing required.
In addition to the mentioned above ground applications, MarMax™ Tape is perfect for wrapping and sealing smooth-wall PVC pipe in drainage applications. Not only does it excel at restraining and sealing non-pressurized PVC joints, but MarMax™ also makes for a highly functional root barrier, preventing plant and tree roots from penetrating into susceptible PVC joints.

The MicroSealant® technology utilized by MarMax™ is extremely stable and resistant to oxygen, ozone, and heat. MarMax™ is formulated from synthetic polymers and contain a built-in primer that facilitates instant bonding to most known materials used in transportation, roofing, and the traditional building envelope, such as: EPDM rubber, TPO, hypalon, aluminum, galvanized steel, steel, wood, fiberglass, and much more. It will not adhere to silicone. Easy to use, MarMax™ is a permanent fix for leaks and other weather-proofing repairs.
MarMax™ has an extremely wide temperature tolerance, remaining flexible in temperatures as low as -70°F (-57°C), making it virtually impossible to thermally shock the seam causing a leak. MicroSealant® technology makes MarMax™ a self-healing tape and extremely robust to a wide range of surface conditions, resulting in reduced steps during installation.
*MarMax™ is not compatible with silicone sealants or lubricants. Avoid using silicone based products near MarMax™.

Store material in its original container at temperatures between 40-100°F (4-38°C). The shelf life is five (5) years when stored as recommended.
The application surface must be clean and dry. Moisture, dust, dirt, oil, grease, salt, or other foreign matter should be removed with a non-residue cleaner such as acetone or lacquer thinner. Avoid using silicone based products near the application area, as MarMax™ will not stick to silicone.
Apply MarMax™ over the repair area, removing the release liner gradually to prevent contamination of the adhesive prior to application. Rub or roll with pressure using your hand or steel roller to activate bonding process.
